The President's Message
Thank you to
Premier Partner Stuart Berger, CPA and the team at SAX, LLP for generously
hosting our June 6th Lunch & Learn meeting at their offices in
Clifton, NJ. NJBA staff members Carol Short, CEO; Jeff Kolakowski, VP
Government Affairs; and Elizabeth George-Cheniara, VP Regulatory &
Legislative Affairs gave a well-received Mid-Year NJ Housing Market Legislative
& Regulatory Update to BANNJ members and guests. All attendees gained valuable information to
take back to their companies.

BANNJ will be teaming up again this summer with the Center for Food Action in the Tools for School campaign to donate new backpacks and school supplies for Bergen County children to have to begin the new school year. Look for information in the July issue of Northern Lights, and help us “Build Up the Community”. Be sure to SAVE THE DATE for our second annual “Spirits & Cigars Under the Stars” event on Thursday, September 13th at my restaurant, Ragazzi Lounge in Norwood.
I am pleased to report that last year’s inaugural event was a fantastic success with great reviews, so I hope many of our members will join us this year.
As another school year comes to a close, I would like to wish all BANNJ members and their families a very happy and safe summer season!
