President's Message to Membership

Thank you to the over 125 golfers and dinner attendees at our 72nd Annual Golf Outing & Scholarship Awards held at beautiful White Beeches Golf & Country Club on Monday, May 20th. The weather was great, and all enjoyed a fantastic day on the course.  
Many thanks to Thomas Troy, NJBA Immediate Past President, who attended to present the first ever NJBA Trade School Scholarship Award to David J. Amels.  NJBA is assisting the locals with these special scholarships to encourage participation by young adults in technical training in the trades for a career in the building industry. The other scholarship winners are Christopher Nieves, Donald Van Natta Memorial Scholarship and Renee Breuninger and Anne Nemeth, both winners of the John J. and Helen M. Durante Community Foundation of NJ Scholarship.   
Thanks to Jeff Mathieu, Scholarship Awards Master of Ceremonies; Mary Brennan of M. Brennan Design Associates, Scholarship Chair; Victoria Reczkowski of Ferguson, Golf Chair,  and the 2019 Golf Committee and Volunteers who made the event possible.   

Congratulations to the golfers who placed in the tournament:

  • Second Place Foursome: Chris Heath, Sean Bradley, Larry Scalzo, Kevin McCormack

The Housing Market Index (HMI) is based on a monthly survey of NAHB members designed to take the pulse of the single-family housing market. The survey asks respondents to rate market conditions for the sale of new homes at the present time and in the next six months as well as the traffic of prospective buyers of new homes.
