Congratulations to all of our 2020 Scholarship Winners below!  These students are the next generation for our industry and are completing their education during this very difficult time.  We wish them all the greatest success.


BANNJ 2020 Scholarship Winners

On behalf of the Builders Association of Northern NJ Foundation, The John J. and Helen Durante Family Charitable Trust and the NJ Builders Association Scholarship Foundation, we are pleased to announce five 2020 scholarship winners.  The candidates will pursue a college degree in a building industry major or trade school certification.



Marina Brielle Robles,  a recipient of the Community Foundation of NJ-BANNJ John J. and Helen M. Durante and Family Charitable Trust Scholarship, is a Senior at Westwood Regional High School and will attend Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute to pursue a master’s degree in Architecture.

Stephanie Marie DeMattheis, a recipient of the Community Foundation of NJ-BANNJ John J. and Helen M. Durante and Family Charitable Trust Scholarship,  is a Senior at Vernon Township Hight School and will attend Rowan University to pursue a degree in Engineering.

Zoe Lauren Tiger, the recipient of the Alex Sands & Jeffrey C. Mathieu Memorial Scholarship Award, is a Senior at High Point Regional High School and will attend Indiana University in the fall to study Interior Design.

Patrick Flig, a recipient of the NJBA Scholarship Award, is a Senior at Vernon Township High School and will attend Rowan University in the fall to study Civil Engineering.

Christopher John Cowper, a recipient of the NJBA Trade Scholarship Award, is a Senior at Park Ridge High School and Bergen Technical High School and plans to attend SUNY Delhi in the fall to pursue a trade degree in Residential Construction. 

Congratulations to all of these impressive students and future building industry professionals!




Be sure to register for our Mid-Year NJ Housing Market Economic & Legislative Update on Thursday, July 9th at 4:00pm either on our website or Register Here by July 7th at 5:00pm.  Our Golf Committee is working closely with White Beeches Golf & Country Club to plan a safe and successful outdoor Annual Golf Outing for Monday, September 28th.  As this is our largest fundraiser for the year, we would greatly appreciate your support of the event to the extent that you are able.   More details coming very soon.
