NJBA is hearing reports of problems with Arc Fault Interrupter Circuits (AFICs) and is looking for builders, remodelers, electricians, or any other members also experiencing problems so we can ascertain how large of an issue this is for the homebuilding industry. Most of the reports are centered around the false tripping of arc fault devices due to false reads, external sources such as ham radios, high efficiency street lighting, or other causes. Please contact Jeff Kolakowski at jeff@njba.org or 609-570-2166 if you are experiencing issues with AFICs.

Builder Member Belvedere Building and Contracting is happy to be proud sponsors of Habitat for Humanity 's National Women Build Initiative!
Less than 3% of women make up the nation's construction workforce. Women Build is aimed at empowering women and eliminating the ‘intimidation factor’ surrounding the construction trades, skills and home improvement. This initiative doesn't exclude men, but it's about including women and opening new windows of opportunity.
