On November 16th, SportProsUSA, Procida and Reno’s Appliance sponsored and hosted a second Sussex County Membership Recruitment event for BANNJ at Angry Erik Brewing. Our leadership provided food and beer and board member Richard Gaynor of Middleton & Company based in Sussex County gave important Association information to builders and building industry professionals in the area. We look forward to many more of these events to bring awareness to the community about our Association and the benefits of being a member.
Many thanks to Candy Gordon-Geanoules and Premier Partner Sax, LLP. for hosting a Holiday Gathering on November 30th at their state-of-the-art office facility in Parsippany. Attendees enjoyed some holiday hospitality and networking while playing pool and shuffleboard in their beautiful game room.

On February 8th, all are invited for a very special 80th Anniversary Celebration Installation & Awards Dinner as we install our new President, Derek Weissman of Procida and our Board of Directors. Our special guest, CEO of the National Association of Home Builders, Jim Tobin, will be there to install and welcome our new leadership and congratulate our award winners. Plans are under way to make this event a spectacular evening at our new venue this year, Biagio’s & The Terrace in Paramus.

Commercial Insurance Agency-Newton, NJ is seeking a licensed Commercial Lines Account Manager with at least 5years experience servicing commercial business. Candidates should be strategic thinkers who value honesty & Integrity with an absolute commitment to client care. The Manager will be responsible for servicing all aspects of an assigned book of commercial lines business.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Insurance license.
- Fluent in insurance terminology, insurance protection and its application for client needs, rating, and available Insurance markets.
- Experienced in managing staff to efficiently handle workflow and daily problems.
- Exceptional organization and time-management skills
- Must be organized and be able to prioritize.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly self-motivated, positive attitude, innovative, reliable, high integrity and honesty, proactive problem solver
- Demonstrate proficiency in computer applications, esp. Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook
- Experienced with Applied Tam
- Professional Designations such as CIC, CRM, ARM, CPCU a plus
