BANNJ held our 77th Annual Golf Outing on May 13th at White Beeches Golf & Country Club. Many thanks to over 100 golfers, generous golf sponsors and Premier Partner sponsors, our amazing volunteers and cocktail/dinner guests who helped to make this event a great success! We had a great day out on the course and congratulations to all of our winners.
Special thanks to BC Magazine for attending the cocktail reception and capturing some great photos of our golfers, volunteers and dinner guests and to Amanda Krakowiak of Heritage WBE, Inc. for the beautiful banner and signs. On May 30th, BANNJ and Metro participated in “Exploring Careers that Build America” along with Bergen County Workforce Development Board, Associated Builders and Contractors, Hohokus School of Trade and Technical Sciences, Servants Heart Ministry and Coppola Brothers. The event highlighted the various career options for students who may wish to pursue a vocation in the trades. Our panelists provided some insightful information and life experiences to the students and families in attendance. I was honored to serve as a panelist along with Frank Belgiovine, Michael Kurpiel, Ashley Brito and Kristie Veri. BANNJ is looking forward to partnering with area schools to provide scholarship opportunities and assistance with learning about careers in the trades.
On Thursday, June 6th Richard and David Gaynor of Middleton & Company Insurance will give a brief presentation on The Adverse Effects that the Cost of Inflation is having on the Insurance Industry and What to do Proactively to Avoid and Mitigate the Impact to Your Business. This educational presentation will follow our Board of Directors meeting and is open to all members. Please email kathleen@bannj.org for the information and Zoom login.
