President's Message
Dear BANNJ
Members,
I would like to wish everyone of you a very Happy, Healthy, & Prosperous New Year.
I am excited
to be serving as President of Northern for another year, ushering in the new
decade.
Last year, I
entrusted our Board with increasing membership. I am happy to share that both
Associate and Builder Memberships increased by a net 15% and 5% respectively.
We have also increased the number of Premier Partners to 10 with the recent
addition of Wayne Tile.
Last July,
Reno’s Appliance hosted a Multi-Association Summer Business Networking Event
with 6 Trade Organizations: BANNJ, Metro, NARI, NKBA, ASID & ALNNJ. Over
200 Industry professionals attended, bringing together builders, architects,
designers, remodelers and professional trade companies. This was a rare
opportunity to connect with like minded people and make new contacts. We intend
to make this an annual event.
This year
again we will have our annual Golf Outing and End of the Year Beefsteak as well
as several educational seminars. We need the help of membership to make our
events successful. Let your trade partners and friends know about them and
encourage attendance and sponsorships. Please also consider stepping up and
joining a committee. New blood brings new ideas.
We have been
fortunate over the last 10 years to see the economy recover after the
devastating Depression at the end of the Last Decade. It is as important as
ever to support our Local, State and National Organizations and their continued
advocacy for our industries.

I look
forward to seeing many of our members at some exciting upcoming events in
January. Our very own NJ Builder Member
Dean Mon will be installed as NAHB Chaiman at the International Builders Show
in Las Vegas on January 23rd.
NJBA will honor members from all four NJ locals at the Annual Industry
Awards Breakfast on January 29th at Forsgate Country Club, and BANNJ
will hold our 76th Annual Installation & Awards Dinner on
Thursday, January 30th at 6:00pm, The Graycliff Fine Catering.

Company, established in 1953, is a family owned and operated business
headquartered in Wayne, NJ. The company has retail locations located in
Wayne, Ramsey, Rockaway, Sussex, and a new showroom coming to Manasquan in
early 2020. Wayne Tile is primarily a direct importer, retailer, and
distributor of high-quality tiles with most items being produced at the premier tile factories of Italy. With distribution hubs
in Pompton Plains, NJ and Rockland, MA the company utilizes its extensive
inventory to serve dealers stretching from Virginia to Maine. Although
Wayne Tile focuses on serving residential customers, the company has also
worked with Designers and Architects on large projects in both the commercial
and hospitality spaces. Now in its third generation, Wayne Tile looks

Installation & Awards Dinner at The Graycliff. Join us to celebrate our 76th year
and help to congratulate our new 2020 leadership and your fellow association
members. This festive evening will
include a 3-hour open bar, delicious grand buffet, awards presentation and live
music by Snafu, back by popular demand from last year’s event! Be sure to place your congratulatory ad in
the commemorative ad journal to market and enhance the visibility of your
