President's Message
On January 17th,
our Association lost a great leader and friend. Jeffrey C. Mathieu passed away peacefully at
the age of 74 with his dear wife, Peggy, by his side. Jeff grew up in Newtown, PA and graduated
from Penn State University with a degree in communications. He pursued a multifaceted career in
broadcasting, and as a licensed realtor and property management
entrepreneur.
In later years, he took on
ever increasing real estate projects with Daibes Enterprises, which opened a
long relationship with NJBA where he served as Life Director and was inducted
in the Builder Hall of Fame in 2006.
Jeff was a four-term Chairman of the Board, two-term President and Life
Director for BANNJ and received numerous awards including Builder of the Year
in 2003. Jeff truly loved the
Association and will be missed more than words can express.
We had a great
attendance at our Annual Installation & Awards Dinner on Thursday, January
30th at The Graycliff. Thank
you to the more than 90 members and guests who joined us to celebrate 76 years
