Message from BANNJ President John Cioletti

Thank you to over 90 golfers, both members and guests, who attended our Annual Golf Outing at White Beeches Golf & Country Club on September 28th and to all of our generous sponsors featured below who helped to make the event a great success.  It was a beautiful day, and everyone enjoyed being outdoors making new business connections and friendships.  Special thanks to our wonderful volunteers who made the event possible including Kim Little of Sub Zero, Candy Gordon-Geanoules of SAX, LLP., Shannon Grizil of SportProsUSA, Michael Kurpiel of Carter Lumber, Peggy Mathieu and Shellie Topper and Melanie Statlander of California Closets.  White Beeches Golf & Country Club staff and Pro Shop did a great job, and congratulations to all of our golf tournament winners:

NEXT UP:  Be sure to register today for the four-hour OSHA Fall Prevention Training Course on Thursday, October 15th.  The course will be virtual and presented through WebEx.  Certificates will be given at the conclusion on the class.  Protect your employees’ safety and avoid huge penalties and fines by getting the information you need to know.   The course is free, but you must register at https://members.bannj.org/events.

Sad News:
Our deepest condolences to builder board member Robert Krakowiak of Dream Builders, his wife Amanda and family on the recent passing of Amanda’s father, Paul Mortola.  A lovely tribute of Mr. Mortola’s life can be viewed here:

The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), part of our 3 in 1 membership, is holding a national fall membership drive from September through November 2020 where participating local associations will receive monetary awards for increases in membership numbers. Thursday, October 15th - Fall Prevention in Residential Construction Training
The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and the Job-Site Safety Institute (JSI) has developed a 4-hour online seminar through WebEx for builders, trade contractors, supervisors and workers.  This training program focuses on identifying fall hazards in residential construction, as well as, providing student attendees an understanding of the OSHA fall protection regulations and safe work practices to prevent fall-related injuries and deaths.
