A Message from BRANNJ President, Glen Lumia
Special thanks to Estefania Tasies and everyone at PORCELANOSA for
their wonderful hospitality in hosting last evening’s “NJBA and Master Sponsor
Road Show” BRANNJ membership meeting at their spectacular, newly renovated
showroom in Paramus . Attendees enjoyed
delicious hors d’ oeuvres, wine and networking before the program where they
were introduced to the NJBA staff and learned what they do for the members and
our industry every day in Trenton. Many thanks to Tim Touhey, NJBA CEO and
staff members, Lisa Obolosky, Mike Bellina and Eileen Monesson (PR Counts) for
attending along with Master Sponsors Gary Forshner (Stark & Stark),
Lee Webb (FWH Associates) and Wayne McAuliff (Northeast Precast/Superior
Walls), and Member Incentive Program (MIP) attendee Richard Robinson of
the Member Rebate Program. We also met Michael Leneghan and Harvey
Mishkin of Association Master Trust who gave an overview of our new medical

I also have some very sad news to report:
Heartfelt condolences to The Kievit Family on the passing of
longtime BRANNJ member Ken Kievit of Athenia Mason Supply who passed away on
March 27th at the age of 64;
To Patrick McNamara and family on the passing of Patrick’s father,
James F. McNamara who passed away on February 17th at the age of 91;
To The Behnke Family on the passing of Frederick R. Behnke on
April 12th.
We also lost a legendary NJBA builder member, NJBA Past president (1975) Frank Farinella, who passed away on April 11th. Frank's daughter, Mary Caporaso and her husband Steve Caporaso, both served as NJBA presidents. Our deepest condolences to The Farinella and The Caporaso families.
