position. Bob was presented with an award plaque in appreciation of
his many years of service to and membership with BRANNJ. We wish Bob all the
best! Winners of the Bergen Record Ad Auction were Boiling Springs
Savings Bank and Reno’s Appliance. Thanks to Past Presidents Jeff
Mathieu, Charles Baldanza and Pat Montalbano for judging our annual Bread
Building Contest for Charity. The winning table was “Spec Home” and they
chose to donate the $750 prize to the BRANNJ Scholarship Awards
Foundation. The Winner of the 2016 TV Raffle, generously donated by Reno’s
Appliance, was Stuart Berger of SAX, LLP. Stu graciously offered to
donate the prize to a local charity and Tony Cavallo of Pella who won the 50/50
raffle also donated his winnings back to BRANNJ! We truly appreciate our
very generous members who support not only our association but also our

I hope that you will all join me at our Annual Installation & Awards Dinner
on Thursday, January 19th at The Graycliff to celebrate our incoming
leadership and congratulate fellow members being honored.
It has been my
pleasure to serve as President of BRANNJ for the past two years, and I welcome
Anthony Volpe of Volpe Custom Homes as our new 2017 President.

Annual Installation & Awards Dinner at The Graycliff in Moonachie.
Join us and celebrate the new BRANNJ leadership and fellow members
honored with awards. Enjoy a fabulous & bountiful buffet, 3-hour
open bar, great live music by Mike Kemp and mix and mingle with building
industry peers. 6:00pm
Thursday, February 9th-Annual Board of Directors Strategic Planning Meeting (BOD only)
Wednesday, March 1st—Joint
meeting with the Bergen-Passaic Municipal Inspectors Association. A
must attend meeting to gain access to up to date codes information and
enjoy a great dinner and networking. Venue TBA.
Thursday, April 20th -General Membership Meeting. Details TBA.
Monday, May 22nd-Annual
Golf Outing & Scholarship Awards at White Beeches Golf &
