Thank you to our New Jersey Builders’ Association staff, Carol Short, NJBA CEO and Jeff Kolakowski, NJBA VP of Government Affairs, for presenting a very valuable and informative housing update for our members and guests on NJ legislative and regulatory issues affecting the building industry. Congratulations to Carol for being honored with an industry service award by the Kislak Real Estate Institute at their event on June 1st. We also welcomed our new NAHB Field Representative, Isabel Shocket, who was in attendance to introduce herself to our members and provide information on national membership. Many thanks to our host, BRANNJ Premier Partner SAX, LLP for their generous hospitality and providing lunch for the group. See mention with photos in NJBA Weekender, below. While the Board of Directors will be working on governance and association management during the summer months, we are gearing up for some excellent fall events beginning with our new fall fundraiser, “Spirits & Cigars Under the Stars” on Thursday, September 14th at Ragazzi Lounge in Norwood. We hope all BRANNJ members will attend and invite your colleagues and friends (see the Save the Date below, with more information on ticket prices and sponsorship opportunities coming soon!) As the school year ends, we want to wish all BRANNJ members and their families a very Happy and Safe Summer!
