September was a very busy month here at BANNJ. On September 7th, BANNJ and Metro hosted a thank-you dinner for our Premier Partners, Club 44 Industry Sponsors and Hammer Sponsors at the beautiful Reno’s Appliance showroom. It was a festive and collaborative evening enjoyed by all. Many thanks to John Cioletti and chef Eva Hajek who provided an extra special touch with football-themed decorations, desserts and of course, their excellent hospitality.
On September 14th, BANNJ President Thomas Petersen and Vice-President Derek Weissman hosted a Sussex County member recruitment BBQ at Blue Ridge Lumber. Our BANNJ leaders provided burgers and beer to a group of interested builders and trade partners as they learned more about what our Association does for our members, the industry and the community.
September has been designated as Associate

Mary Brennan
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of BANNJ Past Associate Vice President, Mary Brennan of M. Brennan Design Associates, on September 20, 2023 after a long illness. Mary was instrumental in BANNJ leadership for many years as a committee member, member of our Board of Directors and was appointed by BANNJ to the NJBA Board of Directors. She earned numerous awards at the local and state levels for her dedication to the Association. She was a creative, kind, and generous person who always had a smile and positive outlook. We extend our deepest condolences to Mary’s family and loved ones. She will indeed be missed. A GoFundMe account has been set up for her family to assist with medical bills https://gofund.me/278bf47c
Congratulations to BANNJ member Ulrich Inc. on their recent 75th Anniversary celebration! We are honored to have Ulrich as a longtime member and appreciate their generous support of our local association and our industry.
